I say this every time I type my second from last blog entry for these reality shows, but hasn’t the time flown by? Humour me please because every weekend I have been there, logging the girls’ performances. What will I do the week after next? Probably book to see The Wizard Of Oz, methinks. Anyway, on to tonight’s show – the one where Andrew can make one last save and we get to see the final mash-up (thank god!).
Andrew tries a Carry On style joke “Last week we had black eyed peas in it. I nearly swallowed a chipolata.” Graham laughs like a drain because the man is a millionaire and keeps him in regular work via these search for a West End star shows!
This wee, the first song is “Singin’ In The Rain.” Due to the fact that these mash-ups have been so random, I have a bet that “It’s Raining Men” is the partner song, but I am wrong as it’s “Umbrella!” Steph is starting to sound completely outshone by the others. I think she has become aware that she is probably going home tonight as the others have improved. Bet she wishes she had a better song now, as she deserved one. As for this mash-up, I prefer chips!
This is now more padding than usual. Aware that people are probably not watching this bit, they now cram in everything that has taken place so far. So, we sit through all of the doggies tasks, one by one! Bliss!
Sierra Boggess from Love Never Dies gives the girls tips and then sings the title song in the studio. This synergy gives the Lord another plug for another show of his, currently in London. Sierra gives a great performance but I must admit, I’m not mad on the song itself.
We find out next week who is Toto. I can hardly wait! Throw me a bone, someone.
Who is not Dorothy?
They all agree, Steph.
Danielle is through (I hit the roof!), Lauren is in the bottom two, Sophie is through, Steph is in the bottom two. They both sing “Another Suitcase, Another Hall.” Steph does well, Lauren seems to try too hard but it’s obvious who the Lord will save. So, it’s goodbye to Steph; a great talent and I’m sure she will go far.
My money is still on Danielle, but Sophie is a contender too and could be a surprise winner.
