On Monday night Whatsonstage.com hosted a long awaited and sold out event to see Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre. Over 200 Theatregoers joined us to watch this fantastic show and were treated to a post show reception with members of the cast. Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and features some of their  best loved songs, including “Earth Angel”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Walk Like  a Man”, “Sherry” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”.

All of our Theatregoers were treated to a free drink and a free programme before the show even began. Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers were also surprised to be joined by politician, barrister and radio host David Mellor, who was hosting a birthday party for his friends. Mr Mellor asked to share Whatsonstage’s ticket table and we were only too happy to assist, although he did seem very jealous of our drinks vouchers and programmes and he vowed to book with Whatsonstage next time he had an opportunity.

All our Theatregoers were given top price seats and were able to watch a wonderful performance which received a unanimous standing ovation from all present. After the show everyone was invited to a post show reception with the cast where they were offered a glass of wine. It was a great opportunity for everyone to ask questions, take photographs and gather autographs. The cast were preparing for tonight’s (March 18 2008) press night and thanked our Theatregoers for being so supportive and giving them such a positive response. Amoung the cast attending were Philip Bulcock, Glenn Carter, Stephen Ashfield, Simon Adkins, Michelle Francis, Griffin Stevens and Stuart Milligan.

Whatsonstage.com would like to thank all the staff of the Prine Edward Theatre and all the cast who made it such a special night.
